Ripped Freak Review
Ever fallen prey to the idea that with just a few more crunches and a lot of sit-ups you can finally build up enough muscle that your six-pack will show through your belly fat? Well Ripped Freak by PharmaFreak is hear to shatter all those dreams.
This pre-workout supplement is designed to help you get rid of fat layers that can be hiding muscle mass and decreasing your definition. Since this is a fairly novel way of increasing your visible muscle mass, we decided to take a look at Ripped Freak to see what it could really offer.
What Does Ripped Freak Do?
According to its manufacturers, this pre-workout supplement is supposed to be able to work with your body to increase its natural ability to burn fat and rely more on the energy that has been kept in fat stores rather than from the calories you eat each day.
This is supposed to be done in three different ways. First, by increasing the norepinephrine and epinephrine hormones in the body. These compounds have been linked with faster metabolisms and have been thought to increase your basal metabolic rate.
The second way Ripped Freak is supposed to help you burn more fat is by boosting the amount of uncoupling protein that is found in the mitochondria, allowing each of your cells to perform its duty faster and more effectively, allowing for more calories to be burned each day.
The last way Ripped Freak is supposed to help you burn more fat is by increasing the activity of the hormone sensitive lipase. This compound is best known for its ability to break down fat, allowing the body to use the nutrients and deplete fat cells of their energy.
How Does Ripped Freak Do It?
Even though the theory behind Ripped Freak is certainly advanced and impressive, we can’t say that we think this pre-workout supplement is actually capable of fulfilling any of its promises.
Because none of the ingredients in Ripped Freak have ever been proven to do anything that this product promises, we don’t think that this supplement will actually help you get rid of fat and reveal more muscle.
Any Other Concerns?
The only ingredient that we saw that was worth a second glance was the Red Pepper Extract which has been shown to increase thermogenesis. However, you can find pepper extract in many other supplements for a better price.
