Time to put another pre workout supplement to the test. You can tell a lot about a product by simply looking at consumer reviews and reading the product label. You also want to make sure it’s safe and worth paying for. Nitric Shock by SNI Global is our next test subject.
Nitric Shock is a unique pre workout supplement designed to boost energy, improve muscle growth, and increase strength without hassling you with jittery side effects. We are going to take a closer look at Nitric Shock to see how effective and safe it really is.
The Eye Test
Generally speaking, the few consumer reviews we found we positive. In fact, the only complaints we were able to find were regarding the texture of Nitric Shock. Because it comes in a water-soluble formula, you may not like the gritty texture of it going down. Overall, however, users like that Nitric Shock is caffeine free and reported no side effects.
After reading the ingredient list, we were able to find some ingredients that are worth mentioning. Since there are 40 total ingredients listed on the label of Nitric Shock, we are going to save you the hassle of reading up on all of them and focus on only the main, most important ones.
Nitric Shock utilizes ingredients like Arginine and Norvaline; two amino acids that are considered building blocks to protein. Increased protein means more muscle growth and also recovery. In other words, you get greater muscle gains after each workout than you would otherwise.
Creatine is another important ingredient found in Nitric Shock. Creatine differs from the amino acids listed above because it focuses more on muscle strength than muscle growth. Now obviously in the long run, muscle growth equates to increased strength, but creatine is designed to give you that boost in power during your workout, allowing you to lift that extra set or run another mile.
You may be asking youself by now, “If Nitric Shock doesn’t contain caffeine, how does it boost energy?” It’s a good question because typical pre workout supplements provide a lot of energy through caffeine. Howeverm Nitric Oxide is caffeine free and utilizes ingredients like Vinpocetine that work to naturally stimulate chemicals in the body that promote energy increase and improved mental awareness.
Finally, to top it all off, Nitric Shock contains enhancers that are included for the sole purpose of making other ingredients better. These ‘enhancers’ are ingredients like dextrose and Amylopectin, which are easily absorbed. Since they metabolize so easily, they make Nitric Shock more efficiently absorbed.
The overall function of Nitric Shock appears to be effective and the consumer reviews back it up. The only downside is the texture of the formula.

The Wallet Test
One contained of Nitric Shock is meant to last up to a month but could be gone in as little as two weeks. The cost of a container can be as little as $35, but retails for around $50. We don’t know about you, but spending up to $100 per month doesn’t seem very feasible for a product like Nitric Oxide. Still, if you are able to consume the minimum dosage and pay as little as possible, this pre workout supplement may be a good deal.
