HICA-Max Review
Put down your powder scoop and stop mixing your pre workout drink. HICA-Max is designed to give you the same results as your pre workout powder without the unpleasant taste or side effects. This is something you may want to take a closer look at.
HICA-Max is a pre workout chewable made by Labrada and designed to increase muscle gains and speed up recovery without causing any adverse effects. While HICA-Max may not actually intensify your workout, you could experience muscle gains in as little as 4 weeks, according to studies. But will this supplement work for you? Let’s put it to the test.
The Eye Test
Users have nothing but good things to say about HICA-Max. Most users report increased muscle gains and faster recovery. In fact, we weren’t able to find any negative reviews for HICA-Max.
Research appears very promising as well. HICA-Max only contains one ingredient called HICA (Alfa-Hydroxy-isocaproic acid). An official study was done in 2010 on HICA using healthy male soccer players. In the study, the players that were given HICA showed an increase in overall weight and lean muscle mass. Fat mass remained the same. The athletes also experienced quicker recovery and less muscle pain during workouts. Factors that weren’t changed were muscle strength and energy. Still, in the long run you should experience greater strength just by increasing muscle growth.
Now we understand not everyone is a healthy male soccer player and results will vary, but generally speaking, HICA-Max shows much promise in terms of muscle growth and recovery.

The Taste Test
When you think of pre workout supplements, you generally imagine the grainy, chalky, bad-tasting powder supplements you have to dissolve in water and drink. These kinds of supplements leave a bad taste in your mouth for way too long and often lead consumers to want something else. While taste isn’t everything, it’s an important decision making factor among many people.
According to user reviews, HICA-Max reminds them of SweeTarts, but chewable. Imagine a Starburst that can actually increase muscle size and quicken recovery. That is essentially what HICA-Max is. Taste is definitely something you don’t have to worry about with this supplement.

The Safety Test
Many pre workout supplements contain creatine, arginine, caffeine, or other ingredients that lead to headaches, nausea, bloating, and other side effects. Since HICA-Max only contains HICA, you don’t have to worry about losing sleep because it is not an energy stimulant. HICA-Max doesn’t increase nitric oxide, and therefore has no effect on oxidization. In fact, no known side effects are associated with HICA-Max.
Safety Test Score: 10/10
The Wallet Test
Last but not least is the wallet score. Generally speaking, HICA-Max is an inexpensive pre workout supplement at right around $25 for a one-month supply. You can usually expect to pay around $40 for a typical pre workout powder. However, when you take into effect that HICA-Max only contains HICA you realize that $25 is pretty expensive for one ingredient. Still, looking just at the effects of HICA-Max, it is still a good deal.
Wallet Test Score: 7/10
Overall Score
There isn’t a whole lot to hate about HICA-Max. It contains a proven ingredient that is designed to build muscle and quicken recovery. HICA-Max does what it claims and tastes great. It is affordable and we recommend it to anybody looking for greater long-term muscle gains.
