Factor 2 Review

Want to spend more time at the gym but don’t seem to have the stamina to do so? Force Factor wants to answer your problems with Factor 2, the latest in its lineup of exercise supplements.

Force Factor claims that Factor 2 will help boost your body’s levels of nitric oxide, leading to greater blood flow to the muscles. That means more nutrients and oxygen where you need it most, increasing your stamina and allowing you to work out longer and harder.

But Factor 2 is still pretty new on the scene, and we think this latest product warrants a second look before you start booking more time at the fitness center.

What Factor 2 Does

Factor 2 works primarily to increase the levels of nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide is a binary molecule that’s become quite the hit with the bodybuilding industry in recent years.

The substance works by opening up the blood vessels and allowing more nutrients and oxygen to reach the muscles, helping them grow and withstand stress for longer periods of time. It also protects your body from the damages of overexertion, which means you won’t have to worry about tearing your hamstring or popping out a shoulder.

In this way, Force Factor believes that Factor 2 will help you gain greater strength and power and be able to maintain that strength and power throughout your workout.

How Factor 2 Is Different From Force Factor

Because Factor 2 is a follow-up to 2009’s Force Factor, we think you should know how the two products differentiate from one another.

While both supplements focus on the buildup of nitric oxide, Force Factor relied on arginine while Factor 2 relies on L-citrulline.

L-citrulline is a byproduct of arginine and was found by a team of hired nutritionists to produce twice the amount of nitric acid as does its forerunner. L-citrulline is an amino acid that promotes the growth of this molecule and also relaxes the blood vessels to prepare them for expansion.

Side Effects of Factor 2

Side effects associated with Factor 2 primarily stem from the supplement’s heavy focus on nitric oxide. While the substance has been shown to be effective in both clinical and anecdotal settings, it does come with a few strings attached.

Symptoms range from mild headaches and nausea to migraine, vomiting, and collapse. One study even estimated that 13 percent of bodybuilders who use nitric oxide will go on to develop hypotension.

Factor 2 Price

Factor 2 retails for $69.99 and from what we could find, that seems to be a pretty set number. In our experience, this asking price is a little high but given Factor 2’s proven ingredients, the product may be worth every penny you spend.

Our Recommendation

Nitric oxide side effects aside, Factor 2 seems to be an effective and useful product that alters the body in a natural way and doesn’t resort to miracle cures to build muscle. Instead, Factor 2 supplements what you already have and allows you to achieve those results faster.

However, if you have a history of hypotension, irregular heartbeat, or strong reaction to changes in your body, we recommend that you look elsewhere for supplement that isn’t so nitric oxide-heavy. Fitness is important, but it’s not worth your greater health.
