Elite Xpand Xtreme Pump Review
Elite Xpand Xtreme Pump by DYMATIZE works on several levels to deliver the utmost in creatine nutrition and arginine pumps. Because there are so many similar products that boast the same potential, we decided to take an inquisitive stare at the ingredients that make up Dymatize’ version of N.O. boosting and creatine enhancement.
Three Times the Creatine & Arginine
Creatine works in the system by enhancing the ATP cycle. Creatine is a naturally occurring element in the system, but when increased by supplementation you get more of the benefits of creatine and are potentially able to utilize longer-lasting effects. So–the energy that creatine provides is that intensely explosive energy you might experience during intense adrenalin rushes, like the flight-or-fight response. Elite Xpand combines three forms of creatine to play with the absorbancy ratings of creatine. We find that this is an interesting approach to creatine absorption.
Arginine is an amino-acid that works as a natural vasodilator in the body. Vasodilators expand blood vessels, allowing oxygen and nutrient uptake to increase in the body. What’s nice about this blend, is like the creatine, it uses three forms of arginine, that each absorb differently into the body. This potentially means a a greater threshold for vasodilation and nutrient absorption. Arginine is supposed to be a nitric oxide booster in the body but scientific studies have shown this claim to be inconclusive at best.
Other Stuff:
This blend also includes BCAA’s, amino-acids, beta-alanine, and others to provide the body with a fairly complex if not complete nutritional support. We especially appreciate the inclusion of beta-alanine as it works as a great muscle thickening agent that helps eliminate fatigue and muscle soreness.
Yay or Nay?
While this supplement is fairly commonly composed–it’s still a decent mix of ingredients. We like many of the inclusions and appreciate the three variations of both creatine and arginine. If not out-dated, this product would be a good addition for a stimulant-free route in pre-workout supplementation. Most customer reviews, however, have reported that they’ve experienced nausea and vomiting after consuming this product. If that’s not a total bummer on your workout than we don’t know what is!
