CE2 Hi-Def Review
When you purchase a supplement, you generally have high expectations for that product. Some people will pay over $100 for a product that they feel will work effectively. However, too many products fall short and people find themselves wasting their Benjamins.
CE2 Hi-Def by MRI is a pre workout supplement that comes at a fairly high price, but might actually deliver on its claims. We are going to help you determine if CE2 Hi-Def is worth purchasing.
What They Claim
According to the makers of CE2 Hi-Def, their product is designed “help athletes achieve the ever-elusive goal of simultaneously becoming stronger and ripped.”
They claim that CE2 Hi-Def is a triple threat pre workout supplement that works to increase power, boost endurance, and burn body fat through three “novel” compounds.
According to MRI, CE2 Hi-Def contains a fat-burning ingredient called Thermo-RK that has been clinically tested in humans and shown to enhance the metabolism and help you lose weight.
Lastly, the makers of CE2 Hi-Def claim that the creatine in their supplement “does not promote water retention” but still provides the powerful muscle building results that come with regular creatine monohydrate.
What We Found
There really isn’t anything “novel” about the ingredients found in CE2 Hi-Def. In fact, there are just three ingredients found on the label of this product and they are all quite commonly found in pre workout and other diet pills. They are:
• Raspberry Ketone: Despite the claims of MRI, raspberry ketone (Thermo-RK) has not been officially tested among humans. The only studies done using this ingredient were in vitro and proved very little when it comes to weight loss.
• Creatine Ethyl Ester: While creatine ethyl ester is arguably more effective and safe than creatine monohydrate, there is no official research to prove this theory. Still, this form of creatine has shown some promise as a safe and effective alternative to creatine monohydrate.
• Beta Alanine: The only truly proven ingredient found in CE2 Hi-Def, beta alanine has been shown in numerous studies to promote higher endurance and reduce muscle fatigue.
Even though the makers of CE2 Hi-Def make their product out to be something unique and special, we see nothing that makes this supplement stand out from the crowd.
What We Suggest
Despite the fact that we don’t see anything special about CE2 Hi-Def, that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. It still contains sufficient doses of creatine and beta alanine and is likely to help you improve your workout.
However, you shouldn’t expect powerful results and at $45 per bottle, you are probably going to overpay for a sub par pre workout supplement. The addition of raspberry ketone is a real head scratcher since CE2 Hi-Def is a pre workout supplement and not a fat burner. If you want to lose weight, you should shop around in that market.
Yes, CE2 Hi-Def contains decent ingredients in creatine and beta alanine, but not enough to be worth $45. We suggest trying something either more proven or less expensive.
